			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>This is an open letter a friend of mine wrote. He was a very successful at getting himself in good shape so I asked him to put an article about the stuff that he did to get himself where he is right now:</p>
<p>Around 3 months ago I have manage to lose around 8 pounds in just a week and then I have made more progress by losing 16 pounds more in 19 days. I did not have to exercise like a top athlete or something. I did not get myself into those starvation diets and I did not have to force myself to eat the foods that I hate.</p>
<p>I did not do anything fancy. All I did was stop eating starchy foods such as white pasta and bread. One thing I added was eat 5-6 smaller meals in a day eating the largest amount of food in the morning. I even refrained form eating foods that are processed. Particularly those that are pre-cooked or ready-made. Most of them are not good. I made sure that I drink at least eight glasses of water in a day. I even practice food portion control without going overboard by measuring and weighing food quantities. It was as simple as stopping food consumption when I feel that my stomach is full.</p>
<p>With whole and natural foods in mind, I began my day with an egg omelette and a half cup of a oatbran or oatmeal. During lunch I would make a soup together with a salad or a vegetable packed sandwich. I prefer making my own salad dressing from wheat wraps and wheat bread. During dinner I would eat with my family. It was a pretty normal meal with common foods such as pasta, meat and vegetables.</p>
<p>Looking back, I think this is the way we naturally eat decades ago. This was way before the fast food restaurants were established in every corner of the world together with processed foods that you can find in the market to tempt people into eating them.</p>
<p>Way before our time, people were not over weight. You might want to take a look at photographs of people in older generations. Compare it with the people that you see outside. Most people today are overweight compared to people in past generations. I think this is because of lack of exercise that come from the development of computers and television. However, lack of physical activity is just one part of the whole process. Diet is another crucial thing here. You should always keep that in mind. If I did not change my ways I would not be able to lose the excess pounds in my body in just a few days.</p>

If your answer is yes, then you should continue reading because I will be discussing some of the latest tips I’ve been trying out myself to lose weight and keep myself in good shape.</p>
<p>First, let us talk about the very essence of this whole process. The main key here is to focus on having a healthy lifestyle. For starters, you can focus on drinking 8 glasses of water a day, having complete amount of sleep (7-8 hours a day) and exercising for as frequent as three times a week. When exercising it would help if you want have a wide variety of cardiovascular and muscle training.</p>
<p>Eating is something that most people neglect to work on. You should only eat until your stomach is satisfied instead of eating until you are about to burst. You should not eat too much calories in one sitting because this will make your metabolism go slower and this will cause your body to accumulate those unwanted fats. Not a good thing if you’ll ask me.</p>
<p>Eating meals frequently does not really mean, eating more food. It simply means eating several smaller meals in a day. This is to keep yourself from being hungry and at the same time, you will be able to keep your metabolism working at its peak. This is a very small adjustment for your diet and this should not be very hard to do. You might even see results with this in just a few weeks.</p>
<p>Let me wrap this up by saying that you will lose weight easily, quickly and naturally if you follow a healthy diet and develop a healthy lifestyle. If you are having a hard time with your diet, then you should motivate yourself by knowing that you will be able to have a healthy and good looking body through hard work. If you are consistent with your efforts, you will be able to experience quick results that it might even surprise you.</p>
